KULL

_______________________________________________________

London two-piece KULL weave a translucent fabric of interlaced guitar and bass harmonies with sprawling vocals.
Since colliding together in 2011, KULL have released a reel-to-reel recording on a small run of cassette tapes in December 2012, and a hand-printed a booklet telling a visual story around the songs.

Coming out of an analogue fuzz-infused haze, their newly-crystallised songs aim to conjure a trance like state, where the sparsity of instruments is forgotten in favour of a dreamlike atmosphere.

"Ethereal psych-drone. KULL spin a mesh of fuzzed guitar and bass with vocals appearing like lamps through the fog"

The Left Outsides

_______________________________________________________

The Left Outsides seamlessly mix their love of the whimsical, English psychedelia of Syd Barrett, with the icy and ethereal european folk of Nico, the drones of Ben Chasney’s Six Organs of Admittance and the introspection of Elliot Smith, all done in a subtle, understated way. Their music evokes that nether-world between wakefulness and sleep.

Formed in 2007, from the ashes of new psychedelic folkers 'The Eighteenth Day of May' (Rykodisc), the Left Outsides are Mark Nicholas and Alison Cotton, a duo from London, England. Following a string of self released, limited edition lo-fi CDR albums recorded by the duo in their home studio, they released their debut album 'And Colours in Between' on the Oxford based Transistor label in 2008. A 7" single 'The Third Light' followed, released by Hi-Beat records in 2009.

A trip to a 'proper' studio resulted in a new album 'The Shape of Things to Come' mixed by Martin Noble (British Sea Power) and Graham Sutton (Bark Psychosis). Their sound has expanded and a more textured psychedelic set of songs has emerged. But with it, the introspective hypnotic folk with an unnerving edge remains.

Mark previously served in 'acid expressionists'of Arrowe Hill and Alison's considerable viola skills have been put to good use in numerous British bands including Saloon and Mathew Sawyer and the Ghosts.
“folky, dreamy, psychedelia....... quintessentially English and pastoral....”

Joined By Wire

_______________________________________________________

Formed in 2002 after returning from All Tomorrows Parties, the Bath based trio with no formal musical knowledge quickly cut their teeth with a dual guitar/drum instrumental racket that resulted with one gig and one favourable review.

This was more than the joinedbywire could have ever dreamt of.
After the tragic death of their guitarist Sara in 2007, the group consolidated into more noise/drone based territory and have been happily annoying neighbours and audiences in both duo and solo guises.

_______________________________________________________

Guitarist Eric Arn and his Primordial Undermind collective have tirelessly mined the nether regions of avant-rock for two decades. Before the Undermind, he cut his teeth in Connecticut's shadowy basement psych legends, the Crystalized Movements.
