Psych/ Folk musician Ellen Mary McGee has released albums through Midwich/ Southern Records and Camera Obscura and has played various festivals such as Terrastock in Providence, Rhode Island and Louisville, Kentucky, Diamond Days in New York and Oakland, California, The Green Man Festival in Wales and Fell Foot Woods in the Lake District. 

This will be her first festival appearance since 2010 and she is preparing to record a new album for release in 2014. Ellen’s previous album The Crescent Sun was described as ‘blood splattered folk, compellingly executed’ by Q Magazine.

I'm a Bristol based confused musician who throughout 20 years of playing instruments has finally found myself at my happiest just improvising. Whether it be on laptop, guitar, synths or samplers, ive been trying to make every instrument to make the same static fuelled womb tunes that with any luck others can get woozy to. I'm greatly honoured to play this new event, and to get the chance to see other musicians with whom I share a love of spaced out music.

"Joshua Burkett is one of the rock’s of the New England rock underground. He got his start in the Bimbo Shrineheads at just 16 years old, playing bass and saxophone. Burkett later played sax and served as cover artist for Vermonster, Wayne Rogers and Kate Biggar’s outlet before Major Stars. Beginning in the mid 1990s, he released solo material on his own Feather One’s Nest label, including the masterpiece Gold Cosmos, which featured both Ben Chasny of Six Organs of Admittance and Pat Gubler of P.G. Silver Stairs Of Ketchikan is Charlie Romijn.
She is one third of the band Thought Forms and behind the label / rambling blog that is Lava Thief.

She started making music under the name Silver Stairs Of Ketchikan (named after a Richard Brautigan poem) in 2006 and has gigged sparingly since 2007.
